Impressions from the Eurobike 2022

The very first EUROBIKE at the new location in Frankfurt am Main exceeded all expectations. On the five days of the trade show in the new EUROBIKE City, 33,780 accredited visitors attended the Business Days and 27,370 bike fans attended the weekend’s Festival Days. Attendees from 105 countries met in person to experience the global trends in cycling and look toward the future together, underlining the interest in new mobility concepts as well as strong demand in the sector.

Bustling activity and high spirits filled the 140,000 m² of indoor and outdoor exhibition space through the final day. This was also the case at Morat Swoboda Motion’s booth, where the company presented a wide range of high-precision gear components and innovative drive solutions for micromobililty – all in line with the theme “Future Mobility.”

The powerful tube drive for e-bikes, which is integrated into the bicycle frame, drew serious attention. Its streamlined design features a gearbox diameter of 46 mm, meeting the requirements for installation space and weight optimization in an ideal way.

An equal focal point was the compact wheel hub drive used in electric cargo bikes, which remains one of EUROBIKE’s trend topics. The powerful and ultra-compact gear units, including the impeller, motor and control system, are part of the e-axle of cargo bikes.
